X-mas over for this time!

And so is x-mas over for this time, and it became a real nice but different christmas!

Warm and sunny and back home in Sweden they got snow and cold, but as usual back home we celibrate the 24th!

Start the dayby driving in to town, needed papers to our gifts!
Breakfast at SubWay for me and McDonalds for the others, back home and spend some hours by the pool!

About 14.30 some of the Swedes came togheter by Peters Restaurant, Baccius & Lucculus, gingercockies and our swedish x-masdrink - Glögg, after that we play x-masgiftsgame.
Everyone had bought a little gift for nearly nothing and then we play with a dice, the one how got a 1 or 6 could pick gifts from the others!
After 10-15 min we stopped and then you have to open the gifts you had infront of you!
Then the game start again, everytime you got 1 or 6 you where allowed to steal gift!s from the others!

back to the pool for a short swim and then a little nap before x-masdinner at 20 o´clock!

The young once go to beachparty after the dinner, we olders (lol) took a coffedrink and then went home to bed!

Christmasday we spent at the pool and then late afternnon we took our bikes and went in to HuaHin again, went to the big ShoppingMal and bought things for breakfast, then we went to the market for thaidinner!

Yesterday was a new day to the beach in ChaAm and then dinner down in the village and after that some soccergame on Tv with our friend and some good drinks!

Today we drove out to the Outlet of ChaAm, a place where you only find the real stuff dont cheap copys, only bought a pair of Converse for Sara, my daughter!
A beer by the pool when we got back and then Hubby wants pork with potateos and onionsauce so we went to the swedish bakery so he got that and a omelet with shrimps for me!
Now he is taking a little nap and I´m sitting here with a GinTonic and enyojing life, soon of for a easy thaimeal and watch Arsenal in PremierLeague on Tv down at the sportsbar!

Tomorrow is time for HuaHin again, some cart for the guys, so they can drive fast and have fun for a while!

Day before X-mas!

Late evening and I´m sitting on the balcony and enjoying a Gin Tonic, listen to the waves from the sea and it is a smal breeze outside, lovely!

The boys just took the bikes into town to buy some smal x-masgifts, going to our friends reasturant tomorrow about 14.30 for Gingerbread and our swedish x-masdrink and have a little game with x-masgifts, then later about 20 o´clock its time for x-masdinner!
Me myself has just been out and get my x-masgifts to the boys, cant tell what now but I promise I will write about it later!

Yesterday we took our bikes and went to ChaAm and the beach, long sandbeach where you can hire cheep sunchairs, lots of sellsman running around selling cloeths so I bought me some new bikinis, blouses and pants.
After a while we drove home and got massage and then a real good Thaidinner and in the evening me meet some friends and playes alittle cards!

Today we got an early start again and drove to HuaHin for breakfast and then up to the mountain to visit Hubbys workmate that lives here from Sept-April, but we took the wrong way so we drove around for a while, looking at the nature!
On our way down we drove by the Elephantvillage and feed the elephants and take a look at one of the smal elephantboys that we have been seeing every year since he was 1, now he´s 6 and taller than us!

Some hour by the pool and after that dinner CordonBleu for hubby and thai for the rest of us!

Tomorrow we are going to stay at home by the pool before all the x-masthings starts, its a lot of Scandinaviens here in BangKwai right now, must Finnish, but quit a lot of Swedes and some Norweigans and the rest is most Englishmen so they celibrate on Friday!

To the weekend we are going back to ChaAm, they got a big outlet outside of the city, then the beach and on the evening we are going to a real nice reastaurant by the sea, the specialy are Thaiseafood but they got many different thaifood!

A sportsday is on the meny to, tennis in HuaHin, Serena Williams against Maria Sharapova, thats gonna be fun!

Tomorrow our first week are over and its only 2,5 left, time goes fast!

Took a little time to find my way back to the Blog!

The flight to Bangkok was delayed and then the taxi in to Bangkok took longer than usual because of the traffic so we arrived to Asia Hotel nearly 4 h late!
But the flight went well and was one of our best Thailandsflights ever!

In Bangkok we dont have internet on the room and it was no time to go to the internetroom or any internetcafé!

First we did was to visit the hotelpool at the 12th floor for 1 h then to MBK the big shoppingcentre just 10 min walk from our hotel!
Bought us some clothes, walk around and look and eat a little dinner!
Back to the hotel and to bed, nearly no slepp for 36 hours!

Up early on Saturday, breakfastbuffé at the hotel then the SkyTrain out to Chatuchack and the weekendmarked!
Bougth some Asien Arts, shoes and things we need for the jouney!
Back to the hotel and the pool again and a good drink!

So far everythig good but then it all went wrong but became good in the end!
We had planed for the riverboats and then dinner by BayokiSkyHotell, long the world higest hotel but dont anymoore!
the riverboat became Tailervisit instead and Hubby and son bought new suits and shirts and then the clock was to much for the boats!
Took a walk to Bayoki durning the market and then the elevator with walls of glas so we could see the town, 77 flats with taht one and then 7 more with another elevator.
Such an view, you can look down over hole Bangkok!
Just this night the restaurant on the 83th floor was overbooked so we just take a drink on the skybar and went down again and took a "tucktuck" to MBK and more shopping and dinner!

On Sunday morning the clock went on at 7, breakfast and one more time out to the weekendmarket, back and check out at 12 and then taxi down to HuaHin!

Got our appartment and got our self installed, down to the pool for one hour and then we took a walk down to the village!
Haircut for Hubby and son, visiting friends and say hallo and then down to Peter for dinner and to get him his Swedish coffe and the heerings for x-mas and some other things from us and his brother back home!
Soccer on the TV down at Peters after the dinner and straight home to bed!

Today we started with a relaxing day by the pool and lunch by John, he is from Scotland and a realy fun old man thats married to a Thaiwomen for long long time so they serve Englishbreakfast and europeen lunch and at the afternoon Thaidinner, but you can get t-bonesteak and things like that to!
Every year he told us that this is his last year but he is there when we came back!
Some hours by the pool even after that, must got a little sunburn!

1 hour in bed, shower and down to get our bikes, my lovely little Scooter that takes me where I want during my time here!
Thaidinner, springrolls for starter and Chicken Cashewnut after that!

Bikes in to HuaHin and the nightmarket, find myself some nice dresses, some good musicdvd and the others bought clothes aswell!

Must of the people in Thailand are buddist so we thougt that they dont have x-mastrees and other x-mas things but that was wrong!
Hole Bangkok was decorated with trees, lights and other x-masstuff, so beatuful!
Same here, every tree along the way in to HuaHin have lights in it!

Tomorrow we taking the bikes out to ChaAm and a day by the beach, here by the hotel it is to windy and the waves to high right now!

Time for bed my friends but see you soon again!

2 more days!

This time on Thursday we are on our way!
Stepdaughter drives us to town, then the Ferry over to Denmark and the train down to Copenhagen and Kastrup Airport!
Bangkok down to HuaHin then at Sunday!

We have always stayed at Asia Hotel in Bangkok, cheap and nice, close to the shoppingcenter and have SkyTrainstation on the second floor and a big breakfastbuffé included, nice poolarea!

Our friend down there in Thailand wrote home this weekend and ask for some things so tomorrow we got to go to the store and buy some Heerings and a little other things that they want to have!

Have to start packing tonight and check out the list so we got everything with us, to town tomorrow and get the Thaimoney!

Realy want to go now, have been snowing a little outside today, but it is still grey and boring and Peter tells us when he wrote that its warm and sunny down there!

Got to prepare dinner now and then visit some friends!

Trouble!

Last evening I happely sent over the link to my blog to some friends in the States, Germany and England we soon realized that there was some trouble!

At first I wrote wrong, of course it should say "Why blog in English" not "Wy" as I wrote!
For the second, they all could only read the headline not the rest, as a friend wrote me "the rest is jiddish"
Whats the most strange whit this is that when we check it out from Sweden it´s okey and we can read everything!

Hope I can find out whats wrong otherwise I got to start it all over from the beginning again!

So all of you out there that read this, let me know if You can read it!

Wy Blogg in English?

Some weeks ago I promised a friend from the States that I would let her know where to follow my blogg from my approaching vaccation to Thailand,, then some days later I remember that she can´t do that, the blogg I usually write are in Swedish on a Swedish sajt and I´m not allowed to write in English!

Thats why You now can follow my and part of my family on our travel to Thailand here and I hope You all gonna enjoy it!

This Blogg is for Nancy and all my other friends out there that´s wanna know what we do, where we are, how we fell and so on and of course for all You other people that´s interested in traveling!
